Meeting Minutes 8-26, 2011

Dear Parents,

Thank you for the great turn out today at the first PAP meeting! This is a new program for the school and we are excited for the enthusiasm of the parents to work together for the success of the students. Success is required at Lied and we will make sure all students are successful when we work together.

These were the minutes for our meeting on 8/26/2011

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.       We elected officers for the 2011-2012 PAP school year today.

Great To Meet the Parents!

We were ecstatic with the turn out at today's back to school fair! Hundreds of parents and students came to receive their registration packets and to tour the campus.

P.A.P. was at the front door to greet everyone and we loved it! Thank you to all the parents and students who gave their feedback on the event preference questions we asked. As well as your interest in our new program!

I would especially like to thank the parents who were eager and willing to be added to the P.A.P. email list. 100+ parents!! I would like to remind everyone that we are asking for as little as 1 hour a year from each parent in volunteer time on campus for students and teachers and/or as support at the school events.

Lied MS staff also did a great job and the entire day was very enjoyable. Go Gators in 2011-12!
